The Ames Equalizer 5k is a race designed for runners of all levels with a twist. Equalizer means that it is a boys verses girls race in which the women start a few minutes before the men, a gap which makes males and females finish time exactly the same. This means a female or male could be the overall winner. The sexes race against each other for the same overall and age group award. All Participants recieve an Event T-shirt.
