PACKET PICK UP
Packets will be available for pick up at the Osthoff Resort Ballroom only, 101 Osthoff Ave, Elkhart Lake, Wi 53020. While there, check out the running, biking, and inline skating exhibitors. Packets will be available during specified packet pick up times only, see schedule. To pick up your packet you will be required to sign a waiver and present valid photo ID. If you are picking up a packet for another participant you must bring a signed waiver and a copy of their photo ID.
Moisture wicking technical shirts, event bib number, and goodies will be provided to all participants. Every finisher will receive an event finisher’s medal. Placement awards will also be given, see below. Sports massages at the finish line provided by serenitymassageandyoga.com
RELAY TEAM OPTION:
While many participants will participate in the marathon individually, there is a relay team category too. The 26.2 Mile course is divided up into approximately four quarters. Each team will start the event and then complete 3 relay exchanges before completing the full distance. Teams can have 2-4 participants/members. The timing chip is the baton and must be exchanged at every exchange area.
The 26.2 mile marathon is a USATF certified course touring through Wisconsin’s beautiful countryside, offering photogenic views, historic sites, and hills reminiscent of Boston Marathon. This course is tough as it is full of hills. Halfway between Elkhart Lake and the historic Wade house the course transitions from roads onto the paved Plank Trail. After looping by the Wade house the journey turns around and heads back toward Elkhart Lake. MARATHON COURSE MAP Click Here

The half marathon is a point to point run starting at the Wade House historical site. The course tours out of Greenbush onto the paved Plank Trail. At mile 5 th course transfer onto the roads.The last five miles of the course will give participants a challenge they can really be proud of with rolling hills reminiscent of the Boston Marathon. The finish is in Elkhart Lake at the same location as the marathon making for an action packed experience. Shuttles will be provided to transport half marathon participants from Elkhart Lake to the half marathon start line, see course map and schedule for pick up location and times. Water stations, port-a-potties, and medical service will be provided along course and at the start and finish lines. Please see course map for this information, suggested spectator spots, and parking locations.
Awards will be awarded to the top 3 participants, male and female in each age group and overall for the marathon and half marathon. Age Groups are as follows: u18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59 and 60+. Relay team marathon awards are awarded to the top 3 teams overall: male, female and mix.

This event is chip timed. All timing chips will be available at packet pick up. It is the participant’s responsibility to return their timing chips and to pay any fees for any unreturned timing chips.
Gear check will be provided for all run events. Pick up and drop off will be at the start and finish respectfully. The event is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
Weather: The average temperature is 61 degrees Fahrenheit. It is the participant’s responsibility to choose the proper clothing, nutrition and hydration for the event day weather.
Headphones/iPod/mp3 devices are allowed though are strongly not recommended. It is the participant’s responsibility to make sure that they do not impair their ability to hear and detect course personal, vehicles, present or potential hazards and dangers.
