Experience the excitement, action and accomplishment of the Great Midwest 6 Hour Mountain Bike Challenge.  Starting in the evening participants will race on a 6.5 mile diverse course in the Northern Kettles.  Race individually, as a 2 person team or a 4-5 person team.  Registration includes trail pass and parking permit. Enjoy the endurance athlete camaraderie of a multi-sport festival at the expo, event, and post event entertainment!
There will only be a 6 hour challenge this year(12 hour challenge has been removed from the schedule).

PACKET PICK UP
Packets will be available for pick up at the Osthoff Resort Ballroom only, 101 Osthoff Ave, Elkhart Lake, Wi 53020.  While there, check out the running, biking, and inline skating exhibitors.  Packets will be available during specified packet pick up times only, see schedule.  To pick up your packet you will be required to sign a waiver and present valid photo ID.  If you are picking up a packet for another participant you must bring a signed waiver and a copy of their photo ID.

GOODIES
Moisture wicking technical shirts (front and back print), event bib number, and a bag full of goodies will be provided to all participants.  Placement awards will also be given, see below.

COURSE INFORMATION:
The 6.5 mile loop course offers participants an unforgettably experience touring through the Northern Kettles. The course winds up and down through forest and prairie. 
Water stations and port-a-potties will be available near the start/finish line. Please see course map for this information, suggested spectator spots, and parking locations.

CATEGORIES AND AWARDS:
The top 3 solos, top 2 duos, and top 4-5 member team for male, female and mix in the 6 hour will receive placement awards.

FESTIVAL ENTERTAINMENT
You bike, cheered or volunteered all your energy away but the fun has just begun.  Experience more than just your event with the nightly festival entertainment*.  Enjoy food, live entertainment, and the endurance athlete camaraderie.  All are invited! GENERAL INFORMATION

Gear check will be provided for all run events.  Pick up and drop off will be at the start and finish respectfully.  The event is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

Weather:  The average daytime temperature is 61 degrees Fahrenheit.  It is the participant’s responsibility to choose the proper clothing, nutrition and hydration for the event day weather.

Headphones are prohibited during mountain biking events.

Helmets are required throughout the entire mountain biking event.  Helmets must be worn at any time you are with your bike or on course during any part of the weekend.

Spectators should view the course map for spectator locations and parking.  Participants are not allowed anywhere on the course beside the designated spectator spots. This will be strictly enforced.
