COURSE INFORMATION
The 8 mile course is USATF certified. Experience the fall colors of Danada Forest Preserve on a loop course. The path is crushed limestone. Water stations and porta potty will be located along the course. See map for location.

Long Sleeve Tech Shirts and Mug will be provided to all participants. Custom event awards will be awarded to the top 3 participants male and female overall and top 3 in each age group.

This event helps to raise money for Special Olympics IL.
MORE INFORMATION
The course is open to the public during the event and participants are responsible for taking proper caution. Dogs are not allowed to participate in the event.
This event is chip timed. To receive a time participants wear a small timing chip on their shoe or around the ankle that starts your time when you cross the start line and ends your time when you cross the finish line. It is the participant’s responsibility to make sure they are wearing their timing chip throughout the race and that they return it after crossing the finish line. Participants may be charged a fee for lost timing chips.
Runners and walkers can participate in this event as long as the participant can finish within the event time limit, see schedule.
All participants are required to read and sign the event waiver form. Click mail in registration link to view event waiver.
Monitored gear check will be provided. Pick up and drop off will be at the start/finish area. The event is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
It is the participant’s responsibility to make sure that they do not impair their ability to hear and detect present or potential hazards and dangers.
Water stations include water and sports drink.
If at anytime you are in need of assistance throughout the event please notify a volunteer or course monitor.
No dogs. No strollers.
No credit cards on event day or at packet pick up.
The event will start rain, snow or shine. The event could be delayed due to lightning or other dangerous conditions. Above schedule is weather dependent.
