Course is open for 1 hour 20 min
It is recommended to park in the public parking lot located north of the train tracks, south of Lake Cook Rd/Main St and west of Northwest Hwy/Rt 14. Please be careful of trains in operation when crossing the tracks. The start/finish is located on the south side of the tracks.
Run or walk up and down the famously quaint neighborhood streets of Barrington. The 5k course will be USATF certified. A water station will be located along the course with water and sports drink. This location is easy to get to and has a lot of free parking!

Custom event awards will be awarded to the top 3 participants male and female overall and top 3 in each age group.
14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59 & 60-64, 65+
Must Be Present to Receive Award.
All 100 meter participants receive a finisher's award.
Join the fun as a volunteer. All volunteers receive a free event shirt. Volunteers can help with water stations, course marshalling, registration or similar
Walkers with strollers are allowed on course and it is the participant's responsibility to take proper caution. The course is open to the public during the event and participants are responsible for taking proper caution.
It is the participant’s responsibility to make sure that they do not impair their ability to hear, see and detect present or potential hazards and dangers. Do to the fact there is a possibility of vehicle traffic head phones (i.e. iPod) are not allowed.
During the event there will be restricted access to the streets located along the course route. However participants may encounter emergency vehicles, local traffic and/or a car pulling out of a driveway.
Water stations include water and sports drink.
This event is chip timed event.
The event will start rain, snow or shine. The event could be delayed due to lightning
